  First, service is always excellent. Taste and presentation is five star. Cocktails are professional and use quality liquors. The lamb cheeks are the best starter I have ever had. The blackened ribeye with mushroom and truffle oil risotto is easily the best steak in town and maybe ever. Try it. Brian Garvin

  Tried a roasted garlic pizza for the first time from Louie's on Christmas Eve, as our regular pizza place had closed early. Was NOT impressed at all. There seemed to be no seasoning on the pizza, toppings were very thin (and the guy I spoke to said he would make sure there was plenty of spinach on it, as I requested), very bland and almost inedible. The worst pizza I've had in a long time. Will stick to Leo's in Nelson, from now on, those are pizzas you can consistently expect to be good with LOTS of flavor and very generous on the toppings. Would not recommend Louie's for pizza, based on this experience.
